Thimbles

I was lok around some blogs and found one doing a giveaway if you show your thimbles

well I did not have one

BUT I was talking to a good friend of mine and she gave me her mothers old sewing box as she is not into craft and her mum has gone blind and wanted it to go to someone who would use it

well look what I have IA very cute silver made in England so now if I am not to late I can enter the draw

but if not I am A winner anyway I have a very special new sewing box

LILY

I gave Lily her quilt today
Yay she is nearly 7 months old now and she is just soooo very beautiful we all love her to bits! dont you think this is what it is all about a happy Bubby in a new quilt
I hope she has many happy years dragging it around [USE IT SAM]

Sam and Steven are amazing parents who have been through so much and are doing a fantastic job

ok sorry for the long gap in this story
here we are at a creek on the way home from Rainbow beach
it is so beautiful and the water is very cold the kids had a ball

the water is a brow red colour from the trees that are around the bank
I love these pics of Brendan and Rachel
and this is a photo I took on our way home I love the colour of the sky through the trees

we all had a fantastic day and I hope we get to do it again soon!!

ok In the next post I will show you a gift my Beautiful DD Amanda made for me for mothers day

I know it is not Mothers day yet but she could not wait to give it to me

OUR LITTLE ADVENTURE

On friday we took Brendan and Rachel on a little Adventure
we were up before the sun but the kids did not seem to mind! First stop was Tin Can Bay to see the Dolphins how beautiful is this boy
we spent around one hour in the water watching him swim around and then you could hand feed him we chose to watch and let some other people have some time in the water with him

Next it was of to rainbow Beach for some food A pie and a drink YUM

then we went to look at the sand blow this is just amazing so much sand and such a beautiful view

here is a pic or DH ans the kids with the ocean behind them
and here is a pic of Brendan and Rachel on the rocks at the edge of the sand blow

wow this was a beautiful place to visit I am sure we will go back again
