my new quilt

wow what a day

I have been trying to get this house sorted I just dont seem to have enough space for everything.

I decided yesterday that because I cant get out my sewing machine yet that I would just do the prep for my new quilt

It is from the book Living the dream by Leanne Beasley of Leanne`s House

I could not stop so now it is all cut out and the stitcheries are all ready for me to stitch wow I think it will be beautiful when I get it done.

ok I will go for now I need to get the kids to bed

I`m Back

hi I am so very sorry that I have been away from my blog for so long BUT I have been very busy you see we have been moving house
The old house we were in was sold by the owner and he was going to get another house for us but he could not find anything he wanted to buy so we had to do a mad rush and find something fast .We did and the new house is very nice it will take a bit of time to get everything sorted but I think we will be happy here for a while .the troubly with rentinmg is you can never get tosettled because you never know just when things will change and you will be moveing again.
I will post some pics as soon as I can find my battery charger .

Ok nowI have some news My dear friend Jo has become a granny again she has 2 beautiful grandaughters already and yesterday her youngest Daughter had a set of beautiful twin boys
I cant wait to see some pics soo congrats Manda and Jo

This is a bird house my Dh made for one of my good friends I think every post needs a pic so here it is

Hi everyone I am so sorry that I have not ben bloging I have been busy doing stuff

We had a nice quiet christmas and new year

then we had some sadness in the family we lost a cousin on my side and a sister inlaw on DHs side so it has been a sad start to the new year .

I had a wonderful day when my DD and I met Lynette Anderson at our local patchwork shop wow that made our day

I have not been doing much sewing but what I have been doing are ufo`s I have a few things I need to get done soon and I am not starting a new project untill I finish something

I have also won a few things in blogland and have thanked the girs through email but girls I want to say a a BIG THANK YOU on my blog I love my prizes and will do some of the things this year

the house still has not sold but I am hopeing the people who looked today will make an offer please send good thoughts I cant wait for a new home with a sewing space for me

the tree

I have a lot of things to tell you all but Iwill start with the Tree the 2 youngest helped to put it up and add the decorations I think they had a lot of fun as you will see for the pics I Love these rat bags hehehe

Solomon our puss even got in on the act .

We have added some lights and some more things to the tree I will get some more pics on christmas day

I am so blessed to have found blogland I do not know how to thank all the wonderful people I have met on the blogs

I have been lucke enough to win some wonderful giveaways and will share pics soon

busy busy busy

Hi I am still here I have just been very busy

Luke`s Birthday party was good it rained so we all had our dinner up stairs .It was a fun night

My Birth Mum mary got Married to Pete now MY birth stepday yay we are all very happy love you both.

The kids have been doing lots of end of year school things

We have had a few people through the house I wish it would just sell so we could get on with life again

The owner has told us he will buy a brick home for us to rent when this one sells woo hoo I just cant wait .ok now i AM SOOO TOTALY AMAZED BY THE KINDNESS OF SOME PEOPLE OUT IN BLOGLAND

The other week I commented on Tracey`s blog about her little fabric chickens and the dress she made her beautiful DD

then in the mail I got 2 very cute chicks and some fabric to make my Rachel A dress wow I am so blessed to have found this wonderfull comunity .Rachel now has a new dress and she got to show it of at her school concert.I have some more things to blog about later so I will be back so hugs to you all my new friends
