yay

Ok here are the pics I was trying to post today the first one is a beautiful cup and saucer I am trying to get myself a crazy tea set together and I found this at a thrift shop for 20 cents . and here are some treasures I got for $4 a good buy I think
and here is my new chair I have been looking at this chair in one of the thrift shops in town for a few weeks now and the more I saw it the more I wanted it then today I just decided to go see if it was still there it was so I was got it for only$25 a bargain I think.
I was feeling a bit guilty you see we only had 3 chairs in our lounge room and with 4 of us living in the house someone got the floor but now I have my new chair we all get a seat I am happy

Hello bad blogger here

is there anybody out there???
I know I have been a bad blogger but i have been a bit down latley and have not had much to say
I am hopeing to make better use of my time and get into the sewing room and do some sewing I also want to have a play with my quilting machine It is taking me awhile to get the courage up to loading something on her but I will try to this week wish me luck.
I have been doing a bit of thrift shopping and have some fantastic things to show you all but blogger is not letting me upoload any pics boo hoo
I will try and do a post with pics soon

I am so lucky

look what I was given today.she is so beautiful and in good nick
she just needs an oil a new belt and a bulb and then I can have a play But
does anybody know anything about her she is a H G Palmer princess
she was made for the HG palmer store in Brisbane the couple who gave her to me brought her around 45 to 48 years ago she does not sew and when they heard I love to sew they wanted to give her to me
I would love to find out more about this brand I am thinking she may be a rebadged singer
can anybody give me any info ????

some things I love

today I was looking through some pics and came across these
I did some scrapbooking a while ago I was in a circle Journal swap mine was on collections so I took a few pics of some of the things I collect .
I realy miss haveing these things around
I think I need to unpack some more of my treasures to make this house more mine
I have not been doing much I fell down the steps the other night
and let me say I have the biggest bruse[sp?] on my rear end and now my ankel is playing up as well.I tell you dark wet steps and slippery shoes are not a good combo.

well today I went for a walk to one of the local thrift shopsand this is what I found I think these will look beautiful on my dutchess
now does anybody know what it is called and how to make it
I just love the look and I think this one is old
it is a matching set of 3 one is a big dimond and the small ones square
I would love to know something about this style of doily
and the best part I got the set for $1can you believe that .

I also go a couple of little tabel cloths but I did not take pics of them .

I have been feeling better so I have been working on my Red work for the swap sorry cant show you LOL

the stitching is done now I just need to sew it altogther.

I have been looking at some diferent blogs while I have been sick and found some that are useing linnen it there quilts so Iam going to try that it looks good andI have some thrifted linnen so it will be a thrifty play always good to make something on a small budget
