new quilt

I should be doing some UFOs but I had to try out my new toy sooo here is a pic of the new quilt I have started {Bec do you remember this fabric?} I am still moving it around to find a look I am happy with. I  am planing to work for an hour a week on  a UFO wish me luck . I am also trying to sort and change my sewing area around to make it work better so that means I find things I have had put away safely oh no More UFOs

Hi all well

I picked up my new toy Friday But have not had time to play with it yet .I cant wait to get it out and pic some fabric and get cutting.

 I have also finally finished my purple and green quilt this one is for our bed
I am very happy with how it looks .I still have a heap of UFOs to get to so I am going to make a list and try and work through them as fast as I can so I can start some new things

New toy

  Hi All here I am back again I have been getting some sewing done and nearly have the binding sewn down on my green and purple quilt pictures to come when I Finish I have had  my baby girl home from school with tennis elbow   She is back at school today  I hope she has a good d
 I have been thinking about getting a new toy for a while now and finally decided to just do it ! so I went to my local Patchwork shop and put a GO Cutter on lay by yay I cant wait to finish paying for it and get it home to play with  I also got a couple of dies and am thinking about getting the winding ways die  as well but I will wait until I pay the cutter of to decide
There are just so many dies I would like
I hope to have some more things to show soon. My girlfriend Sam is  making her first quilt it is a simple one made with owl fabric for her Daughter Lily I will take some pics when she gets the top done .I also have my little tumbler quilt ready to quilt  and I have pulled out my Gardner's journal quilt again so some more stitching is getting done hope to get it finished in the not to distant future

Hi all I have made some progress today it is raining so prefect sewing weather I Have put together the nine patches just need to cut them restitch and sew together it is going to be BIG

 The little tumbler now has the boarders attached last post it was laying on a pink blanket looked OK so I went with pink for the boarders . I am going to  craft tonight so more sewing for me

 oh dear I did it again I have not done a post in so long I don't know if anyone would still be reading ? but here goes I have found some mojo It was away for a while  soooo I have been doing a little sewing the top pic is a layer cake I love Aster manor It is the first Layer cake I have ever had  I am turning it into a giant disappearing nine patch and the  2nd pic is progress the 3rd pic is A little quilt I am making from scraps a friend gave me they were offcuts from her go cutter  .Well another friend has a go cutter as well and she let me have a play last Sunday this is what I have made from my scraps I think it is sooo cute I am hoping to get some pale pink fabric to do the  boarder in 
so I seem to be back at it again yay I am also doing th4e binding on a small quilt and need to make and sew on the binding for a quilt for our bed  .I hope to have some more progres shots soon

Changes

Hi All I have been so slack in blogging lately but I do have a reason !Our family has been  going through some changes .I have not said much about  our work life on the blog but I am so excited to tell you that My Dh who has been on a dis Pension for a few years has been able to get a job YAY it  means so much to us he is getting better and is more like his old self  :)     I have had a friend move back to town with her little girl so I have had some lily time she is so much fun
and I have also had a Birthday yes I am 40 wow how did that happen
we had a quiet dinner and I got some lovely gifts .
