quiet times

Hi all well I have been very quiet on the blog for a while but am back now . We enjoyed a quiet Christmas and New Year. Over Christmas we helped some friends relocate  from Monto to Rockhampton  it was nice to see them again and catch up with their grown kids .Not much sewing has been going on but I have started a Major reorganise of the sewing room and some other parts of our home .lots of sorting and re homing going on here I have plan for a new quilt and lots of UFOs to finish .  thinking of all the people in the bushfire areas and hoping for rain for them  hope you all get to do something you love today hugs Beth

year 12 graduation

Our youngest son Brendan and his beautiful girlfriend Annie
graduated from year 12 last week here they are about to go to their formal I love the top pic they look soo happy her dress was beautiful  .They had a fantastic night .so proud of my boy.hugs Beth

Gardners journal top done

I am so glad I have this done. I love how it looks . Now I need to decide how to quilt it

Hi All I need your opinion's please

Youngest DS is  finishing year 12 this year and his lovely Girlfriend is wearing a cobalt blue dress to their formal I am making her a corsage I have had a play and have 2 but I don't know which one I like the best please tell me which one you think goes with the blue fabric they are on thank you

Gardner `s Journal quilt

Just a quick post today to show you my Gardner's journal quilt all the blocks are done and together just need to add the boarders and quilt it .the pic was taken before i put the top together

Rachels Quilt

I have finally  Quilted and bound My DDs first Quilt for her

 

 

She started it a few years ago and it has sat waiting for me to quilt. I love how it has turned out and Rachel has been sleeping under it so I will say she likes it as well I have also been stitching on my Gardeners journal quilt and am up to the last stitchery yay Hope to get it finished this week and put together sometime next week
