Hi Beth, Thanks for the comment on my blog, Mount Vincent Quilts. I had a look through your blog and found that you too have a Design a Quilt quilting machine. I have had mine for nearly 7 years and have done tonnes of quilts in that time. I love it. I have problems every now and then but I find that a good service ( new needle, clean around the bobbin area and check the oil) usually fixes the problem. Mine is also quite fussy with the thread that is used. I use YLI machine quilting thread. The tension may need to changed from quilt to quilt and thread to thread.
