A pillow

While looking around on some blogs the other day I came across one that I loved

I fell in love with her pillows so emailed to ask if I could copy and here is what I have done
it is our family initial and the year we were married I love it
so this is my first finish for June
don't know that I will get anything else done but I am still plugging along on my Gardeners journal so all is good

Well I have gotten around to sewing this block together
so now there are 2 done .I hope to get some more stitchery done this month to catch up to the other girls doing this quilt
it has been a quiet weekend for us just staying at home and sewing doing housework and listening to all the revelers at our Local [ worlds greatest pub crawl] event
some of the costumes were amazing and some were a little small for such cool weather

new to me hall stand

I was lucky the other day and was given this hall stand it was heading for the scrap pile and a friend thought of me . I have added a few things to it and now it is in my front room
sorry about the pic I took in on my phone No sewing going on at the moment but I hope to get to it soon

Birthday gift

As you know it was my Birthday at the end of last month and my dear Mummy and Daddy gave me some spending money to go thrift shopping or garage sales or such well I was out looking around the other day and found this
